Show Caption Fall has arrived and so has a new menu item at Krispy Kreme . The doughnut chain announced Monday, Sept. 21, the debut of all-new Churro Doughnut Dots , a "poppable, shareable treat" made with Krispy Kreme's signature dough, tossed in cinnamon sugar and paired with a dulce de leche dipping sauce. The dots will be available for a limited time beginning Tuesday, Sept. 22, at participating shops nationwide.
Each order includes eight cinnamon sugar-coated dots and one small cup of the dipping sauce. Customers can get the dots in-shop, in the drive-thru and for pickup or delivery through Krispy Kreme's app or website, while supplies last. “Churro Doughnut Dots are such a fun way to bring a little extra sweetness to fall,” said Alison Holder, chief product and brand officer at Krispy Kreme.
Krispy Kreme's fall doughnut collection still available The Churro Doughnut Dots join Krispy Kreme's ongoing Autumn Seasonal Collection on the menu, which was made available to customers on Aug. 11 and features pumpkin spice and other fall-themed flavors. The collection includes: (NEW) Maple Cheesecake Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with cheesecake Kreme, dipped in maple icing and topped with graham-flavored crunch and maple drizzle. (NEW) Cafe Mocha Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with a coffee-flavored buttercream swirl and a mocha bean. Biscoff Cookie Butter Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with Biscoff Cookie Butter Kreme, dipped in Biscoff cookie butter icing, topped with Biscoff cookie pieces and then drizzled with white icing.
Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut: An Original Glazed Old Fashioned cake doughnut featuring pumpkin spice flavor. The collection also features two fall-themed lattes, including: Pumpkin Spice Latte: A latte flavored with pumpkin pie sauce, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice seasoning. (NEW) Apple Crisp Latte: A latte flavored with apple crisp syrup, topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and graham-flavored topping. Costco announced on Sept. 18 that it is bringing the twisted churro back to its U.S. food courts for a limited time after having a limited-time Caramel Churro Sundae in April .
